[FEATURE] Full media player custom skinning and themes across QS and Lock Screen #950

Description

@Firteb

Describe the feature

Add an option to fully theme and skin the system media player widget across the entire system, including both the Quick Settings (QS) panel and the Lock Screen. This would allow users to apply complete design presets, custom skins, or custom layouts to the media player rather than just tweaking basic elements like the seekbar.

Why would it be useful to add?

Stock Android on Google Pixel devices offers very limited customization for the default system media player. While many custom OEM Android skins (such as OneUI, HyperOS, ColorOS, etc.) already feature flexible media player customization and themes, Pixel UI completely lacks this functionality.

Since Iconify is the premier customization tool for Pixel UI, bringing full media player skinnability (both in QS and on the Lock Screen) would fill a major gap for Pixel users looking for a tailored aesthetic.

Example(s)

  • Themes/Skins for the media player card (e.g., iOS style, Retro/Cassette design, Neumorphic, Minimalist, or Compact cards).
  • Visual customization options like full-bleed album art backgrounds, custom blur/opacity, and alternate control layouts that apply consistently to both the Quick Settings and the Lock Screen widgets.

Additional context

Tested/Requested for Google Pixel (Pixel UI / AOSP). Having a unified media player skin between the lock screen and notification shade would greatly improve system customization.
