From the user perspective, I don't think choosing an algorithm is only relevant for experts and not worth introducing the
--expertoption. I suggest to drop--expertoption and prompt user to choose an algorithm always. In addition a certain algorithm could be declared as the default to make usage easier for uncertain users.
