Windows Defender is flagging the TabExplorer application as a virus

It's a false positive. I'm using it on several machines (Windows 10 and Windows 11) as a daily driver, with no issues at all, and I got this warning only one time. You can ignore it.

In any case, for the next release I will double try to see if this can be addressed, but since this is a file explorer replacement that, well, is accessing the file system, Windows Defeder could think about it as a virus.

Edit: I noticed you're running TabExplorer from a Windows temporary folder. This is a pattern commonly associated with malware (files extracted and executed from temp locations), so Microsoft Defender tends to be more aggressive in these cases. I would recommend you to extract the whole TabExplorer package to a regular folder of your choice (for example C:\MyApps\TabExplorer or similar) and running it from there instead. Thanks!
