Add compiled versions of .tex source files

To make for better reading, I compiled both .text files into PDF files:

mpl_cartopy.pdf
revised_workplan.pdf

If it would be welcome, I could open a pull reqeust to add these to the repository?

I would expect that the tag be converted to a Release, and the compiled versions attached as artifacts.

Sounds good - I don't have permissions to do that, but if someone does and wants to, feel free to take the compiled versions I uploaded above.
