Typelevel Virtual Meetup: Macros in Scala 3

Hello @typelevel/maintainers and contributors!!

Please join us on Friday October 25 at 12:00 EST / 16:00 UTC for our next virtual meetup! We'll start with small group breakouts to get to know one another and chit chat, before hearing from Astrid about macros in Scala 3:

Together, we’ll have a look at how macros work in Scala 3. We’ll look at what they are, how to write them, and some examples of what you can do with them... and the things you probably ought to be doing instead. Because with some of Scala 3's other powerful capabilities and the libraries present in the ecosystem, it turns out that many things you’d do using macros in other languages can be implemented much more easily using tools such as inlining or Mirror. Others are not so easily duplicated, but in their case that’s probably a good thing.

After all, just because you can write code that won’t compile if it’s raining doesn’t mean you should 🌧️🌧️
