From cd27edab17b6b5c27196843a1f3df331381e588a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jaroslav Groman Date: Wed, 12 Aug 2026 10:53:46 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Use LIBSEAT_BACKEND=noop for weston in run-gui-backend logind does not assign a seat to sessions created by systemd services, so weston's libseat logind backend cannot acquire input devices. This causes weston to reject all input devices and crash on shutdown. Use the noop libseat backend instead, which lets weston open devices directly as root without needing logind's device handoff. Fixes the GUI startup on ARM (RPi) where PR #156's VT switching alone is insufficient.
