HTML Minifier Next is the official successor to HTML Minifier, including many fixes, new minification features (even including SVG minification), DX updates (e.g., presets), and considerable performance improvements (see benchmarks against other maintained minifiers, including metrics on effectiveness). (Disclosure: I maintain HMN.)
If there’s interest in offering support for it, too, I’d be happy to provide an initial PR. If you have architectural preferences (e.g., substitute other tooling), I’m there to take that as input, too.
