Forgot password: email not carried over, and "username" wording

What: The email typed on Sign In isn't prefilled on "Reset your password". An empty submit shows "Please specify username." (the design says "Email is required."), and there's no email-format check.
Fix: not fixed.

Repro

• Type an email on Sign In → Forgot password? → field is empty. Design: carries the email over.
• Empty submit → "Please specify username." Design: "Email is required."
• not-an-email → no format check (input is type=text). Design: "Enter a valid email address."
