Ahsin Ahmed is currently a Gender Research Fellow at CivicDataLab and a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Women’s Studies at Gauhati University. Her academic and professional journey has been rooted in exploring critical social issues through a gendered perspective. She has previously worked extensively on areas such as maternal health, injecting drug use, and lived experiences within urban slums in Guwahati city. Through her role at CivicDataLab, she aims to contribute meaningfully to research and policy discourses by foregrounding gender as a critical lens for understanding development and social equity.
