I've gone through the curriculum repo and tried to replace all the relevant mentions of "pair programming" with "mentored coding". It's worth noting that there remain a lot of mentions of "pair programming" in the repo, but from what I can see they are all genuine references to the industry practice (e.g. talking about recommending it for launch projects).

Additionally, I've pulled the pair programming guide into two separate guides, one for mentored coding and one for industry pair programming. I pulled out what was already there and wrote a bunch of extra stuff in there that's new as well, so I would be grateful for a once-over of that just to check it all makes sense and isn't riddled with typos. Thanks in advance 🙂

LGTM - thanks!

A **volunteer** that wants to be a coding mentor should:

- Create a bookable calendar for 30 minute appointments, something like [Google Calendar](https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/10729749?hl=en) or [Calendly](https://calendly.com/integration#calendars) works well

That's a point, IMO 30 minutes is too short but I personally allocate 45-minute slots on my booking schedule to give me time for: slight run-over, writing up my notes, and a 5-minute break (just checked and all the other edu leads are either 45 or 50 mins). How about saying "45-60 minute appointments"?
