Hi, this issue has been fixed.

Root cause: BackBox rootfs was using the deprecated apt-key method to import the BackBox PPA GPG key, which failed to properly add the key for the backbox/nine PPA on Ubuntu Noble. This caused NO_PUBKEY F2B4C9A44882013D and prevented apt update from working, so desktop environment packages could not be installed.

Fix: The bootstrap script now uses add-apt-repository (from software-properties-common) instead of apt-key, which correctly handles GPG key import for the PPA:

chroot "$2" apt install -y software-properties-common
chroot "$2" add-apt-repository -y ppa:backbox/nine

The BackBox rootfs has been rebuilt and updated (amd64, arm64, i386). Please re-download the rootfs and try again.

In this application, there was not command when I chose Backbox os to install any DE. I had to find out the command line in this repo. I hope that you will add the command line to this application. I'll reinstall and notify it for you
