Regen Testing

Problem and Scope

Need to be ready to test regenerative braking on GR26

Description

If the brakes are pressed OR throttle is not pressed passed the threshold, regen a fixed amount of negative current; provided that you enable regen and you are going faster than the regen minimum speed

Gotchas and Limitations

Need testing, probably talking with drivers too

Found spec for it while digging in old threads, may no longer be the most up to date goal

Testing

  • HOOTL testing
  • HITL testing
  • Human tested

Testing Details

Regen works on car per Mapache reports

Larger Impact

Thermals being less of a concern, this lets us race longer
