@bnmajor typically I would take this out of draft before requesting a review but since we want to wait until the backend work is done before we merge this I requested it now. I don't want to accidentally merge this before the backend work is done. |

Closes #158 however should not be merged until #159 has been completed. #159 should be based off of this branch and merged into this branch when completed.
