Summary

Read-only review of magic-lab-observer over the window from baseline 3ea6d9d to current commit 8970879.

Findings

  • [SEVERITY: low] ManitOS terminology remains in some older endpoints and files — backend/tests/test_manitos_passive_gate.py:308 — Action: These are explicitly versioned contracts (e.g., v1/ingest/manitos/traces) or telemetry components; per AGENTS.md, published endpoints must not be broken. No action required.

Checklist

  • CI status checked (gh pr checks / actions)
  • lint: ruff check backend cli sdk/python
  • tests: backend / sdk/python / cli (125 / 37 / 63)
  • migrations smoke
  • docs/terminology consistent (Observer, package names)

Verdict

PASS — The changes properly correct product naming across docs and package manifests without introducing regressions or breaking published contracts.
