bug: vsCode debug console not displaying errors

Bug

When running from vs code the debug console shows no errors and no indication what the problem is or how to solve it. Only a generic 404 function not found when trying to access the function.

Expected Result

When running from shell with netlify dev command, the build shows erros normally.

Using "console": "integratedTerminal", e.g. vsCode's integrated terminal instead of debug console seems to avoid suppressing logs and errors.
