Keep the Chat Open While It Answers, Try Attachments, and Choose a Study in the Simulator

♻️ Current situation & Problem

The study chat locked its composer while an answer arrived, so a staged quotation could not be removed and nothing could be written ahead. The processing line was drawn differently from the questionnaire's progress bar. A simulator could not enter a study without an Xcode launch argument, and a scanned code that was refused told the participant nothing. The microphone and speech permission prompts still carried template text.

⚙️ Release Notes

• The chat tells Grove it is generating instead of disabling the composer; only a task's message cap closes it. Participants can quote, write and queue while an answer arrives.
• SpineAI tries chat attachments in its previews: simulators and development deployments offer photos, camera and files; participants do not yet.
• The processing line is the questionnaire's hairline: one point, tinted, smooth, reduce-motion aware.
• Debug builds in a simulator list the shipped studies where the scanner would be, and choosing one enrols the way its code would.
• The scanner's bar is glass over the camera, and a notice on glass says where to point it or why a code was refused: not a Plainly code, expired, or a study this build does not know.
• Real microphone and speech recognition usage descriptions; the camera's mentions documents.
• Grove is taken from its chat-input-and-dictation branch (Queue Messages Mid-Answer, Dictate Into a Recording Pill and Fit the Viewed Image Grove#101).

📚 Documentation

The README pictures are retaken with the current chat and questionnaire. The script starts RocketSim itself, since RocketSim quits whenever a simulator it shows is shut down and its CLI reports success either way, and keeps the walk's exit code out of status, which zsh reserves.

✅ Testing

SpineAIPerformanceTests and the previews test cover the study capability, and EnrollmentTests enrols through the simulator's study list; the shared package's suites, the app's test plan against the pinned Grove, SwiftLint, Periphery and REUSE ran locally. Periphery runs the simulator build, so the scanner's device-only members carry its ignore markers.
