Centerline export artifacts

Description

In the GUI, when choosing "export centerline" from the fabricate menu, there seems to be artifacts connecting the terminal ends of some branches to the initial root? See pictured below the resulting .vtp in ParaView:

Notably, I did not run into this issue when selecting export solids from the fabricate menu:

Reproduction

After importing tissue domain (patch geometry in my use case) and generating tree:

fabricate menu -> export centerline -> save as .vtp (default) -> open file in ParaView.

Expected behavior

Do not expect to see these artifacts.

I believe this is a VTK issue as I have separately seen these problems when using VTK directly for centerline extraction. I'll investigate now...
