Summary
The usage-reporting "Details" link pointed into the private trace repository, so anyone who followed it got a 404. Every such link has been pointed at the public page https://danielstephenson.dev/usage-reporting instead (its opt-out section is
#opt-out). The page goes live with the portfolio site's next release.Changes
README.md,src/usageReporting.py,tests/test_usageReporting.py.trace_client.pywas left untouched (its docstring still carries the old link): trace-client-python 0.4.1 is not tagged yet, so it is due a re-vendor once that release exists.Tests
python -m pytest -qwas run locally (Python 3.11,SDL_VIDEODRIVER=dummy/SDL_AUDIODRIVER=dummyas in CI): 965 passed;tests/test_usageReporting.pypins the new link.drafted by Claude on behalf of Daniel Stephenson
