The
wrynosebranch has been cut from master (at d01a75f, which includes the2.1.6 bump), so master now tracks the Blacksail development series.
LAYERSERIES_COMPAT_updatehubmoveswrynose->blacksail, replacing theseries name outright, matching how the previous transitions were done
(66425bb, f6c3c71). Users still on Wrynose should use the
wrynosebranch.Testing
bitbake -pagainst oe-core master (LAYERSERIES_CORENAMES = "wrynose blacksail"):3001 recipes parsed, 0 errors, layer accepted.
Note the layer's dependencies in a typical tree (meta-oe, meta-python,
meta-networking) still declare
"whinlatter wrynose". That is not a conflict —the compatibility check intersects each layer's
LAYERSERIES_COMPATwithoe-core's
LAYERSERIES_CORENAMESindependently, and those layers will pick upblacksail on their own schedule.
