Our CI matrix is too big. It's going to be rare that we pass CI on one Fedora major but fail on another.
And in most of those cases esp with fedora-$branched, the breakage is likely to be external to us. Let's try to change our CI logic so that we reuse the same shared logic for "how to find Fedora latest" that the Packit CI does, and drop the other Fedora versions by default.
This will reduce flakes and noise and our use of CI capacity.
There's a huge array of other related things - we really should still do extended testing as postsubmit i.e. post merge and have an agentic process too which triages any failures there, so if we did somehow just break e.g. fedora-$branched (new systemd/kernel/selinux) we'd know, or opt-in on a PR.
