Using CRX Components in a Regular Wagtail Project

Hello,

I have an existing website built with Wagtail (not using CRX), and I was wondering if you provide any packages that would allow me to use your new components (Responsive Grid Row, Accordion, Modal, Price List, etc.) in a regular Wagtail project, without migrating everything to Wagtail CRX?

For example, I saw that you provide the wagtail-seo plugin as a standalone package, but it seems there isn’t a separate package available for the CRX components — hence my question.

You can simply import the blocks into your existing wagtail pages, and add them to your streamfields.

from coderedcms.blocks import ...

I also had another question: I noticed that Wagtail CRX has a Tracking tab in its settings.

Is there a way to integrate this tab and its functionalities into a regular Wagtail project without migrating everything to Wagtail CRX?

Unfortunately not. The "track button clicks" is implemented on the CRX button block, and the tracking codes in general are in our template which is included with CRX base.html.

However if you're feeling ambitious, you could steal the implementation and implement this on your own wagtail project.
