Summary

  • Renamed the manual release-workflow.yml workflow from "Create Release" to "Create Version" to disambiguate it from the "Create Release" job inside publish-workflow.yml, which does the actual GitHub release creation via gh release create. This workflow only bumps and tags the version.
  • Only the top-level workflow name: changed; the job name inside publish-workflow.yml stays "Create Release" since that's accurately what it does.

Test plan

  • YAML syntax validated
  • ./gradlew clean build passes
  • Confirmed via grep -rn "Create Release" .github/ README.md CHANGELOG.md that no other file references the old workflow name

Disambiguates from the "Create Release" job in publish-workflow.yml,
which does the actual GitHub release creation via gh release create.
This workflow only bumps and tags the version.

Pull request overview

Renames the manual GitHub Actions workflow display name to “Create Version” to reduce confusion with the separate “Create Release” job in the publish workflow, clarifying that this workflow bumps/tags versions rather than creating a GitHub Release.

Changes:

  • Updated .github/workflows/release-workflow.yml top-level name: from “Create Release” to “Create Version”.
