Replaces the placeholder icons with the Crescendo mark (one wave, two voices taking alternate notes) in Tonal Violet.

macOS

  • desktop/build/icon.icon: the Liquid Glass icon, made in Icon Composer. Four note layers in one glass group, stacked in playing order so each note's round cap overlaps the one before it; translucency off so the voices stay solid; violet fill kept in Dark mode.
  • mac.icon: build/icon.icon: electron-builder compiles it with actool and derives the flat .icns for macOS 15 and earlier from it. Packaging for macOS now needs Xcode 26+ (no CI job builds macOS).
  • desktop/build/icon.svg: the flat master on Apple's grid.

Windows / Linux

  • build/icon.ico (16–256) and build/icons/*.png (16–512), wired into electron-builder.yml.
  • scripts/gen-app-icons.mjs regenerates them and the Icon Composer layers (macOS only: uses sips).

Desktop runtime

  • Tray and dev-build Dock icon drawn from the mark in src/main/brand.ts (still no binary assets at runtime): a template-image wave in the macOS menu bar, the full-colour tile on Windows/Linux.
  • The Dock icon is now only overridden in dev builds; a packaged app keeps its Liquid Glass icon.

Android

  • Adaptive launcher icon (wave on #221D3A, also used as the themed monochrome layer), splash background, and the playback notification icon (media3_notification_small_icon, overriding Media3's default).

Testing

  • vitest run src/main: 43 passed, including new brand.test.ts.
  • Liquid Glass renditions checked with Icon Composer / ictool (Default, Dark, Clear, Tinted); actool compiles the .icon to Assets.car + Icon.icns.
  • Built and installed: pnpm dist:dir on macOS (bundle has Assets.car, CFBundleIconName = Icon) and a release APK on a Pixel 7 Pro.

- build/icon.icon: the Liquid Glass icon from Icon Composer. Four note layers
in one glass group, stacked in playing order so each round cap overlaps the
note before it; translucency off; violet fill kept in Dark mode. Set as
mac.icon, so electron-builder compiles it with actool (Xcode 26+) and derives
the flat .icns for older macOS from it.
- build/icon.ico (16-256) and build/icons/*.png (16-512) for Windows and Linux,
rendered by scripts/gen-app-icons.mjs (macOS: sips), which also writes the
  Icon Composer layers.
- Tray and dev Dock icon drawn at runtime from the mark (src/main/brand.ts):
a template-image wave in the macOS menu bar, the full-colour tile elsewhere.
The Dock icon is now only overridden in dev builds, so a packaged app keeps
  its Liquid Glass icon.

The adaptive icon foreground is the two-voice wave on the Tonal Violet dark
tile (#221D3A), mapped onto the 72 dp visible area; it doubles as the themed
monochrome layer. The splash background follows the tile, and the playback
notification's small icon (media3_notification_small_icon, overriding Media3's
default) is the wave in one colour.
