Agent skills for working with Drupal.
- drupal-project-description: create or edit a project page on drupal.org (the module or theme
body at
drupal.org/project/<name>), or generate aPROJECT_DESCRIPTION.htmlfile, using the special drupal.org formatting classes (note boxes, tip boxes, warning boxes, action buttons, grids, side-by-side listings) and a human, non-AI writing voice. - drupal-module-documentation: write end-user and developer documentation for a contrib module
with MkDocs, build the
docs/structure, and set upmkdocs.ymland.gitlab-ci.ymlfor the drupal.org GitLab Pages pipeline. - drupal-code-provenance: run a script that counts custom code (under
modules/custom,themes/custom,profiles/custom, the code you and the agent wrote) against community code (Drupal core and contrib), splitting server-side "dangerous" PHP from frontend, to answer how much of the running code was hand-written versus assembled from the community. - drupal-tutorial-video: record a narrated 1920x1080 MP4 tutorial of how to set up a module. Captures a ddev site in the browser on a virtual X display with a visible mouse cursor and typed input (agent-browser locates elements, xdotool does the visible clicking and typing, ffmpeg x11grab records), generates ElevenLabs voice-over, renders command cards for terminal steps, overlays a Montserrat caption bar, and concatenates the scenes into one video.
Add a skill straight from this repo with the skills CLI:
npx skills add ivanboring/drupal-skillsThat reads the skills/ folder and installs the skills into your agent's skills directory.
To install one skill by name:
npx skills add ivanboring/drupal-skills/drupal-project-descriptionList and manage what you have installed:
npx skills list
npx skills remove drupal-project-descriptionClone the repo and symlink the skill into your agent's skills directory:
git clone git@github.com:ivanboring/drupal-skills.git
ln -s "$PWD/drupal-skills/skills/drupal-project-description" ~/.claude/skills/Once installed, ask your agent to write or edit a drupal.org project description, for example:
Write a project description for my module at web/modules/contrib/my_module
Update the description on drupal.org/project/my_module to add a Features section
The skill asks where to save the file (default PROJECT_DESCRIPTION.html in the module folder)
before writing.
