datareftool v2.3.0 not shutting down cleanly

When X-Plane 12 shuts down the last message should be.

With v2.3.0 I do not get this message.

With v2.1.0 I do get the message.

With datareftool removed completely I do get the message.

My other friends with XP12 & v2.3.0 have noticed the same thing.

I can confirm pikitanga's datareftool v2.3.0 log.txt shutdown response error.

Is this the reason why DRT isn’t writing any last run files to the preferences folder? I’m using 2.3 with XPlane 12.06b7 and the last time it wrote the commands and datarefs files was in June. It works fine in sim but it’s not outputting anything on sim exit.

I went back to 2.1 and it started working again, so I would say it likely is related.
