This looks like the AppImage restart bug tracked in #210: the extension environments broke every time the app was closed and reopened. That bug is fixed in v0.4.3.
Could you try v0.4.3? If Modly still breaks after closing it, feel free to reopen this issue and attach the logs from ~/.config/Modly/logs.
When I install modly, i can use normally. But as soon as i close is it's gone, and the installation doesn't work anymore unless i delete some files in the terminal, but then i have to restart from zero.
