For a small installation, target 2 CPU cores, 2 GB RAM, and 20 GB free disk on a Linux host with Docker Engine, Git, Python 3, and OpenSSL. Source builds may need additional memory or swap.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mailxem/mail/undefined/scripts/install.sh | bashThe guided Docker Swarm starter builds the app and backend, generates credentials, and starts PostgreSQL, Redis, and RustFS alongside them. Connect your SMTP provider after creating your account.
Read the self-hosting guide for requirements, HTTPS, backups, and updates. The starter targets a single node; hosted integrations require additional configuration.
Start with the documentation, report a bug or suggest an improvement, or contribute to the monorepo. Code, documentation, and thoughtful feedback are all welcome.
