Summary

Clarifies the Arize interoperability example in the Agent Spec tracing docs:

  • distinguishes Arize Phoenix as the open-source/local or self-hosted tracing path
  • points production users to the Arize AX Agent Spec tracing docs
  • adds canonical Arize agent evaluation and LLM evaluation resources
  • fixes the wording in the sample comment from Phoenix Arize server to Arize Phoenix

This is a docs-only change.

Validation

  • git diff --check

I did not run the Sphinx docs build because this only changes a short prose block and one code-comment line.

Notes

  • Commit includes Signed-off-by for the DCO/OCA process.
  • No issue was opened because this is a narrow documentation clarification.

@sonleoracle @paul-cayet I opened this as a docs-only update to clarify the Arize/Phoenix tracing path and related evaluation references. You both have recent history on this tracing doc; could one of you take a look or route it to the right reviewer once the OCA gate is clear?

It looks like the system was not able to link the OCA to your Github account. Could you please try to re-submit the OCA using the email account associated with your Github account?

@cesarebernardis I double-checked the branch-side identity data. The PR author is arizedatngo / GitHub user id 97070834, and the commit author, committer, and Signed-off-by email are all 97070834+arizedatngo@users.noreply.github.com. So the commit metadata appears to match the GitHub account-linked noreply email that the OCA bot is reporting. If the submitted OCA used that GitHub username/email and the check is still failing, is there an Oracle-side approval or manual linking step needed?

The comment at #235 (comment) reports the email that the system expects, and that's not dat@arize.com. The reason they differ might be because your email is set as private, but I am not sure. You can try, if it's ok for you, to set the email as public for a few minutes to check if the system updates, otherwise I will reach out to the team responsible for the OCA to check what needs to be done in these cases.

@cesarebernardis I tried the suggested GitHub-side steps: the public profile email is now visible as dat@arize.com, and I pushed a fresh no-op commit (4040601) to retrigger the Oracle OCA check. The new oca/oracle run still failed. Since the PR author and commit/Signed-off-by metadata are already linked to arizedatngo / 97070834+arizedatngo@users.noreply.github.com, this looks like it needs OCA account/linking support on the Oracle side.

@cesarebernardis thanks for helping resolve the OCA linking issue. The bot now confirms the OCA is signed and the reported checks pass. Could you review the tracing-documentation update or let me know which remaining branch requirement is blocking merge? I found no outstanding code-review change request in the PR history.
