## Install

### As a Claude Code plugin

Register the marketplace once, then install:

```
/plugin marketplace add pleaseai/claude-code-plugins
/plugin install spring@pleaseai
Or from the command line, outside a session:
```bash
claude plugin marketplace add pleaseai/claude-code-plugins
claude plugin install spring@pleaseai
```
To pin it per project instead, commit the equivalent to `.claude/settings.json`:
```json
{
"extraKnownMarketplaces": {
"pleaseai": {
"source": { "source": "github", "repo": "pleaseai/claude-code-plugins" }
}
},
"enabledPlugins": { "spring@pleaseai": true }
}
```
### As a standalone skill
```bash
npx skills add pleaseai/spring-plugin
```
This installs the `spring-docs` skill for whichever agents the
[`skills` CLI](https://github.com/vercel-labs/skills) detects. It copies only the
skill directory, which is why the scripts it runs are committed as
dependency-free bundles inside it.
dependency install, which is why the scripts it runs are committed as
dependency-free `.mjs` bundles inside it.
The same directory also loads as a Claude Code plugin. There is no marketplace
entry yet, so that route is the symlink under [Development](#development).
### Which one
| | Plugin | `npx skills` |
|---|---|---|
| Agents | Claude Code only | Every agent the `skills` CLI supports |
| Updates | `/plugin update spring@pleaseai` | Re-run `npx skills add` |
Both install the same `spring-docs` skill, and it behaves identically in either:
the skill addresses its scripts through `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}` and runs the
committed `.mjs` bundles with `node`, so it needs nothing above its own
directory. Installing both is redundant rather than harmful — the skill writes
nothing into your project either way.
