SQL editor font setting issue on new laptop with 2880 x 1800 resolution

I am trying to use the latest version 5.0.0 on a new laptop with 2880 x 1800 resolution.
By default, the text and menus in the UI are very small and I can not see anything.
After adjusting the font size to the maximum (28) the text in the SQL editor remained unchanged and really small.

I really like SQuirreL SQL Client but I am not able to use it because the text in the SQL editor is really small, I am not able to read it.

Could you please fix it?

You may also adjust the editor font at menu File --> "New Session Properties" --> tab SQL --> close to the bottom

Perhaps a better choice would be to use the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) parameter sun.java2d.uiScale. To do so you need to edit your squirrel-sql.sh or squirrel-sql.bat and put -Dsun.java2d.uiScale=2 right before net.sourceforge.squirrel_sql.client.Main and surround it with blanks. Adjust the number (=scale) at the end of the JVM parameter to your needs.
