Reinstall necessary after FL Studio Update

I notice that after FL has an update (even a minor one), I often have to reinstall in order to get it working again. Is there any way to fix this?

It's possible the FL Studio installer might interfere with the FLRPC process. Have you tried simply restarting the app or your PC after updating FL?

Yes, I have tried restarting the app and restarting my computer, but the issue only seems to resolve when I reinstall FL RPC

The new release should log its activity inside %APPDATA%\FLStudioRPC\logs\ and it uses a different approach to detecting the FL Studio process.

Update to the new version and see if the issue is still happening. If it is, keep FL Studio open and send us the logs.
