DRAFT: experimental viewer, Library and lineage ports (upstream #242–#249)

Intent

Review/staging PR only. Target: integration/modly-next-2026-10-09. This branch incorporates seven distinct upstream PRs from the older lightningpixel#242–lightningpixel#252 series while preserving 0.4.3's newer code, and leaves main untouched. All source contributions are credited to @OmarB97.

All patches were rebased by matching exact hunks against the current integration branch (not by overwriting old snapshots). Changed hunks that did not match were ported deliberately, with postcondition checks. The source PRs remain authoritative.

Excluded for now

• Make Chat aware of the viewed model, and trace exports to their source lightningpixel/modly#246: agent API is now llama.cpp (old patch is Ollama-specific); workflow runner changed.
• Replace triangle input and remove redundant Library footer lightningpixel/modly#250: now Python mesh-ops adapter rather than old TS processor; needs new no-op preset contract.
• Unify asset weight and keep Library state in sync lightningpixel/modly#251: depends on Replace triangle input and remove redundant Library footer lightningpixel/modly#250 parameter/optimizer behavior.
• Carry artist intent through generated assets lightningpixel/modly#252: large, diverged stack affecting artist intent, texture reloading and more; must be split/rebased separately.

Gate status

• Changes isolated from main and upstream.
• Explicit source-attribution / ledger.
• Source-side syntax issue in Play animation clips in the 3D viewer lightningpixel/modly#242 identified and corrected in integration branch.
• NOT YET RUN: combined TypeScript checks, Node/Python test suites, lint, build.
• Native Windows Electron viewer, GLB/animation/export checks.
• Library project/lineage filtering and previews with real files.
• Combined security regression checks for fix(storage): guard recursive deletion and relocation (refs #351) lightningpixel/modly#370 before using valuable files.

Do not merge or package this preview without validation. Patch applicability is not proof of correct runtime behavior.
